Week 10 – I will win!

I can hardly believe that we already are in week 10 of the MKMMA course. Those ten weeks, almost all of my focus has been on implementing all the exercises and tasks included in the course. Almost everything else has got to second place. Even my business, but I think it is time to start setting goals about that now. I have been a little afraid to put up weekly goals about my business because I do not want to fail.

Tomorrow I am going to participate in a mastermind with three other MKMMA members. Two of them are in Canada one in Macedonia and me in Sweden. Time difference makes it a little awkward to find convenient times, but I’m really looking forward to our first meeting via Google Hangouts tomorrow. I will discuss goals with my business and hope to get the support of the mastermind group to achieve my goals. Really exciting to get to know the other members and hear about their lives and their experiences of MKMMA.

I decided to do my best to do everything necessary to bring about a change in myself. I can imagine that things happen with me, but I feel impatient and wish I had seen a major change. While I write this, I realize that the critical voice comes from my old blueprint that wants to tell me that I’m not going to change anything. But that is so wrong! I read Og Mandino and I know my old blueprint will have to give way to a new one.

So long as there is breath in me, that long will I persist. For now I know one of the gratest principles of success; if I persist long enough I will win. I will persist. I will win.”

Love and light to all of you.

  1. Hi Maria — you could be writing my blogs, we are having so many of the same feelings and experiences! I am 74 (lots more years of negativity imprinted on my subby!) and I too have spent so much time meeting all the MKMMA requirements, I have neglected my business. But I think the growth we’re both experiencing little by little will enable us to grow busines quickly once we get back into it. I look forward to hearing how your Mastermind group works out. I live in northern California USA, but have cousins in around Malmo, Sweden.

  2. I also have put a lot of time into this course, more than I imagined, but I am happy that it is time invested in creating who I want to be. Don’t feel bad that you may have put your business on the back burner for a few weeks. The time spent with your exercises is improving who you are and your business will benefit from it.

  3. I am right there with you, Maria – and totally agree with the other comments. For the first 9 weeks I have been totally immersed in getting a handle on all my MKMMA work, at times feeling incredibly overwhelmed just trying to fit everything in. I wanted this so bad it absolutely took top priority. So I, too, have been putting my business on the back burner these past couple of months. But I have to say it has felt really good to step back and totally focus on ME for the first time in many years. Taking the time to immerse myself in the “world within” has paid fantastic rewards. For heavens sake, just taking a total break to figure out what we really want, what our purpose is was HUGE. But now I’m feeling incredibly eager to action on the traction points in my DMP. It’s time to get busy and get serious.

I absolutely know your old blueprint is starting to give way. You are developing the HABIT of persistence, as I know you’ve been diligent with the exercises, readings, sits. I am super excited for you!
